The original of ‘Lavandula’ is, in contrast to the package’s Mattheis Remix, is a moodier version that gradually erupts around a killer distorted bassline.
Take Away is an Israeli label that has a deep and stripped back sound fusing melodic elements with techy grooves. Todays DHA mix is from Ricardo Baez, a young Italian-Venezuelan talent from Florence, and the owner and promoter of the Tropical Animals club that’s brought the likes of Chez Damier, Mall Grab, Bradley Zero, Avalon Emerson, Luca Lozano, Interstellar Funk & many other to Tuscany since 2010. Ricardo has also released on labels like Toy Tonics, Rebirth, Gomma, Night People NYC, and MFF (Music for Freak). In addition, he recently launched the Tropical Animals label with the ‘In Light’ EP from fellow Italian Whitesquare.
Following up on his debut EP ‘Pathway’, Eric Maltz is back with the second release on his label Flower Myth. A swirling combination of past and future, the second release from Flower Myth is a perfect blend of spontaneity and careful craftsmanship.
