Full Premiere: Daniel Bortz – Hot In The Fridge (Original Mix)
Influenced from a diverse array of styles, Daniel Bortz’s music plays to enthusiastic national and international audiences, and have since the first time he stepped behind the decks at fourteen years of age. Musically versatile with a keen sense for every mood, Daniel Bortz sound includes crate digging, house-nostalgia, dance floor transfer, sample insanity and a healthy dose of eclecticism.
Since 2007, Bortz has been steadily releasing his own productions and remixes on various labels, including his veritable home in Pastamusik. This year, after the overwhelming positive reactions for the first release from his Bella Avgvsta EP series, with which we left the old behind and said hello to the new year, Daniel Bortz is now ready to roll out part two. Perfectly fitting to the changing seasons, Daniel readies something hot to thaw the bones.
Today, we exclusively premiere his track ‘Hot in the Fridge,‘ which skips the obligatory intro and transports the listener directly into a dark prime-time techno cloud. It starts straight with a whipping nervous rhythm section that shows the way, giving direction in a dense haze of sound wherefrom the deep bass driven theme rises to the surface, enclosing you directly with its wafting sounds. Sweet but dangerous.
Bella Avgvsta (Part 2) is Available 6 May 2015 on Pastamusik
