House District ADE Podcast By Fred P

Published On 12/10/2016 | Interviews, Podcast

Fred P aka Black Jazz Consortium aka FP-Oner has been involved with music since childhood.

He began his education in the world of sound sculpting in the late 80′s in his home in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Collecting old broken cassette decks and repairing them was more than a hobby it was necessity. Aside from his interest in developing sounds Fred was learning the fine art of DJing. It is Fred’s philosophy that music is the universal language that brings everyone together under a sound under a groove and vibration. What you do with it is personal choice but it’s there for everyone inclusively available. From this point of view comes a extensive and humble discography spanning a plethora of fine labels.

On 23 October, Fred P joins Paul Johnson, Tom Trago, DJ QU, Patrice Scott, Secretsundaze, Volcov, Andrea Fiorito, and Hiver, at Panama as House District descends on the Amterdam Dance Event 2016. Anticipating this event, Fred P provides a very special mixtape for us, as well as an exclusive interview.
