Lineage: Amsterdam’s Mysterious New Party Concept

The word on the street is there’s a new party in town and we’re not even sure we’re supposed to be writing about it: it’s a strictly offline community called Lineage. 30 odd tastemakers from all corners of Amsterdam’s scene have come together to create a new series of hedonistic underground parties. To find your way in you have to become part of the family.

Here’s what we know: The first edition is being held on Saturday 2nd April at Radion, and the price at the door is €15 – there’s no presale of any kind obviously. In one room, house and techno from Dauwd, Awanto 3, Mahfoud plus a special guest. In another room, hip hop from DJ Turne and 22Track’s Sunday Service b2b with Beraber. Lots of creative play time is promised with performers and art throughout.

Now, the tricky part: In order to get you and your friends access you need a Lineage coin. Where from? The tastemakers have been supplying their favourite party people with packs of coins, giving them the chance to tailor the crowd.

Basically keep your ears to the ground and your eyes peeled and you might just might be able to get your hands on one.
