UK Police Warn Against Dangerous ‘Lion’ XTC Pill

Just ahead of New Year’s Eve an official warning has been issued against the ‘Dutch Lion’ XTC tablet. The pill, marked by a unique ‘lion’ or ‘griffin’ emblem, is shaped like a shield and contains extreme doses of MDMA. John Milburn, 19, died in an ambulance on its way to hospital, after emergency services responded to a call from Nation nightclub in Liverpool. Andrew Glaister, age 47, has also died and is suspected to stem from similar circumstances at the same nightclub. London Vinyl Shop Giving Away Dance Records For Free

Remember the story about a Hackney record shop owner who stumbled upon a 24.000-large collection of classic dance records earlier this year? Well, that story has just got even better because that same company, Vinyl Pimp, is now giving away a chunk of that collection away for free! UK Supermarket Chain Tesco To Reintroduce Vinyl In Stores

It seems the vinyl resurgence is taking ever-greater forms. After the wax hype already made its way into the stock of various hipster clothing firms, it now seems that the last bastion of commercialization is about to be conquered: the supermarket. Tesco, the biggest supermarket chain in the UK, announced this week that they will begin selling vinyl again, starting on September 4.  Michael Mulligan, chief music buyer of Tesco, told Engadget that their venture into the vinyl market is the “logical step” for the multi-billion dollar corporation.
