Up and coming Producer Evian Christ, who has collaborated on Kanye West’s Yeezus album, found himself in a bit of trouble over the weekend after having been locked in a cage at the Leeds Music Festival.

Apparently being mistaken for your average VIP rushing fan, Christ was detained by security guards following his BBC Radio One stage set at the event, which featured acts ranging from Mumford & Sons to Kendrick Lamar and Alt J. Consequently, Christ’s set at the following days Reading Festival had been cancelled (Both Leeds and Reading are organized by Festival Republic, who have yet to comment). Christ took to twitter to tell fans his situation, which quickly yielded the hashtag #FREEEVIAN

Check out Christ’s tweets from the incident below and let us know: What DJ’s do you think should be locked away?
