Eastern Electrics: The Club Stage
This year Hatfield House will again play host to one of London’s most talked about day festivals. The team behind Eastern Electrics have put together a selection of eye watering line ups set between 7 stages, that has been widely discussed as one not to be missed and the countdown is on for what is set to be their biggest and most successful year as a day festival, to date.
This years ‘Club Stage’ will be headed up by one of Ibiza’s most talked about nights at Space the Do Not Sleep parties. With a name that sits comfortably not only with the people in Ibiza, but now worldwide, the main man behind the label Darius Syrossian has laid on some thick elbow grease to get this label to where it is today. Suitably named for the insomniacs, Darius set the party up as a breakaway and proved to the industry that hard work and taking risks are noticeably worth it! Last year, La Vista Club Privilege acted as the popular night’s launch pad and after only 3 weeks the party was one of the most talked about on the island, where it was instantly thrown into securing a spot for residency at Space in 2016.
Darius Syrossian will of course be the head honcho of his label stage on Saturday. The Manchester born DJ and Producer lives and breathes music. For 14 years he stood behind the stall of a record shop, fully submersing himself amongst vinyl. This year, Syrossian has been a pivotal player in the Ibiza music scene, his love for the sounds of house and techno, mixed with his constant work ethic has seen him grow and develop the most interesting and impressive productions. In 2015 he released a track widely played today ‘Hans Trippy’, which delivers a raw techno sound to the dance floor and is instantly a track that is recognisable.
Alongside Darius will be his long term pal and #4 in Resident Advisors most charted acts of all time-Nick Curly. One of the longest undisputed kings of the underground, this year along with Darius has seen him take his career up a notch, with a residency at Space. It all started in 2005 for the German DJ and Producer as his run of timeless club ready 12”s and remixes constantly created a musical pathway into the hands of both his friends, fans and world renowned DJ’s.

Another big player in the music industry and a fully fledged house hold name if you’re fully submerged in the sounds of house and techno, Matthias Tanzmann is a true performer when it comes to his time behind the decks. Born in Leipzig, Tanzmann brings with him a huge amount of experience since it all began in the 90s, his career grew rapidly and seen him bagging a residence at popular club The Distillery. He is the boss and creator of Moon Harbour Recordings, a label fully committed to the sounds of Deep House.
Huxley: With his name on the bill for a good seven years now, Huxley has enjoyed experimenting with a range of producer software and tools throughout the journey in hope of finding a unique sound suited to what he offers, and 2016 may now be the year he can continue to comfortably establish his name and its safe to say that this is the year he really has arrived. He knows how to get the crowd worked up and is vastly experienced in headlining a festival as well as performing to smaller crowds.
Bones: Do Not Sleep is a party for those who like something edgy and different, something fresh and exciting. Also for those who want to see exclusive, world class back to back sets from some of the most technically gifted DJs out there. Chris Bones is not an exception; he is all of the above. Be prepared for the unexpected; be prepared to feast in great music articulated to perfection the founder of Electric Ibiza Bones plays a pivotal part in the Do Not Sleep parties, providing old school house tracks accompanied with euphoric vocals.
Kydus: Home grown in Liverpool, Kydus has found a gap to grow into within the thriving electronic music scene, developing what is classed as a ‘forward thinking dance floor sound.’ With only four years of solid industry experience this DJ has grown from strength to strength, gaining him recognition and picking up the Ibiza Emerging Artist award back in 2014. Recently he has launched a label after his own heart, searching for tracks in his hometown of Liverpool.
For those that haven’t managed to make it to Ibiza this year, this stage is going to provide you with a big slice of Ibiza vibes on a plate. Darius brings with him a broad range of artists and producers with variations in both sound and experience. Expect to plunge in at the deep end of house and techno, amongst tracks that are widely known and ones you wont have ever heard of and PLEASE make sure you stay until the end, to catch Darius playing old school house classics to wind down the end of the festival.
