The latest installment in the successful Disco-House-Edit imprint „Black Jukebox”, run Exploited label boss Shir Khan, features 4 heavy vinyl jams. The first two come from the hands of Exploited’s very own Mickey, one from the Mekanism and the fourth track is accredited to Matpat. Shir Khan has made sure that this 9th edition in his sublabel is as powerful as those that came before it, and has already spurred support from Audiojack, Maxxi Soundsystem, Claptone, to BBC Radio 1, Noir, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Xxxy, DMC UK Buzzcharts, Pete Herbert, Hackman and more.

A native of Brussels, Mickey (21) loves and has been motivated by the fascination of electronic music. In 2011 he started earning his stripes as a DJ while he was one half of a local DJ duo. He appeared on the international map when he had his first release on Exploited with “Walk Away”.

No. 09 in the Black Jukebox consists of cutting edge material by all three artists, with Mickey kicking the record of with two undeniably funky and original creations: ‘Holding Hands’ and ‘LA Anyway’.
