How many of us yearn for an event that represents the old school house sound exclusively? You know, one of those parties that brings together a selection of heads from back in the day who can still thrown down with the younger heads, but have years of experience on their side, plus a record collection that would make you weep with admiration… Well, it’s about to happen in the north of the UK and we highly recommend you check it out.

The event will be happening all the way up there in Sheffield (birthplace of the mighty Warp Records among other legendary British electronic music institutions) on Saturday March 7th at Magna Science and Adventure Park. There’ll be a mouthwatering FIVE arenas of music full of names who can truly present the history of house music in a credible and authentic manner.

“Who’s on this massive line-up?!”, we hear you asking. Well, for starters, how about Todd Terry, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Graeme Park, Allister Whitehead, Rob Tissera and Jo Mills – all names that have helped to establish house as a global phenomenon as well as inspiring countless generations of DJs and producers who’ve come up under them.

There will also be some amazing live PAs, really taking it back to the old days when a rave was not just about the DJs performing on a podium, but singers delivering their anthems live to the crowds. So, Julie McKnight will be in attendance, along with K Klass AND Rozalla, she of ‘Everybody’s Free’ fame. Amazing stuff.

This is an event that’s really not to be missed and well worth a trip out of London, or a trip to the UK if you’re from overseas. Trust us…
