Label Showcase 26: Family NAME

Published On 05/09/2016 | Label Showcases

Since 2009 inception, Lille-based label Family NAME has surely taken its time toward perfection.

NAME is made of fidelities and friendships built among the years. Family NAME was logically born with the wish to extend human and musical affinities. Family NAME gathers godfathers (and godmothers) who built the 11 editions of NAME Festival identity, but it’s also the promise of new artists and warm dates on the dancefloor!!! Now, the label enters in a new era, with a much more consistent release schedule and many new artistic connections.

Anticipating the 12th edition of NAME Festival, held in Lille 7-9 Oct, we go in depth with the label as they set up their latest release (watch this space for exclusive premiere) from APM001, who have been with the Family since the beginning. Also, longtime Family NAME partner, and supplier of their latest EP, Mainro also provides an exclusive mixtape, giving us an idea of the Family NAME experience the way it was meant to be heard.

NAME Festival goes down in Lille, France 7-9 October with the likes of Ben Klock, Ellen Alien, FRankey & Sandrino, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Mainro, Marcel Dettmann, Mind Against, Reondite, and more. Find ticket and more information HERE
