Another week, another seriously good mixtape and, may we say ourselves, this is going to be a great year for mixes here at Deep House London – as if last year wasn’t good enough! For this week’s installment we have the duo Tough Love bringing some deep delicious grooves to our mix series ahead of their appearance at Ministry Of Sound this weekend for Audio Rehab.

The boys have come through strong over the last couple of years, delivering their brand of fresh, deep and bumping house music to club goers across the UK and Europe. They met while both DJing individually on the London circuit, found a common bond, formed a partnership and haven’t looked back since.

You only need to take a glimpse at the luminaries who’ve supported their music or the labels who have signed them to realise just how prominent Tough Love have become in recent times. They’ve had releases with Toolroom, Off, Nurvous, Suara & Kenny Dope’s Dope Wax to name but a few influential labels who’ve supported their music. On top of that Tough Love have remixed artists including Jaguar Skills, Shift K3y, Doorly, Sigma, Borgeous, Le Youth and many more. Recent stormers to have emerged from their studios include “Dreams” on Toolroom and a killer collab with Amine Edge & DANCE entitled “The Perfect Love EP”, which we interviewed them about not long ago.

This exclusive new mix from the twosome is full of bass-heavy flavour, lots of vocal samples and a great energy, perfect for getting you in the mood for a big night out. So hit the stream or download button and get it on right away!

Tough Love ‘So Freakin’ Tight’ is out on Island Records on 16th March. Pre-order here.
