Each weekend anyone who is in London and loves to party the night away to house and techno is spoilt for choice with the sheer volume of parties on offer. Not only that, but many of those events play host to some of the world’s best DJs – which means we’re very lucky here in our beloved capital. This weekend is no exception and to help you work out where’s the best place to spend your hard-earned cash, we put together a guide for you every week… Here’s this week’s installment.

Martin Buttrich is marking 20 years in the business with a world tour (and a forthcoming film, too) and he hits London this Friday with his old friend Timo Maas for a good old knees up at Oval Space in Hackney. Be there!

Fever 105 with Lovebirds
The Bussey Building in south-east London is always a good little spot for a party, this weekend they get the Lovebirds throwing down a three-hour funk and disco set courtesy of Fever 105 from Manchester. Slick line-up, definitely worth a look.

On the 5th Day
One of London’s newest clubbing destinations, The Qube Project is putting together some wicked line-ups already. We’re impressed with the musical programming so far, and this weekend they pull it out of the bag with the brilliant AFFKT headlining with Darlyn Vlys.

Mixmag Live presents MK
The world’s biggest dance music magazine brings in one of the world’s biggest DJs for an almighty party. MK has been around since the last eighties, dominated the nineties with his ‘MK dubs’, disappeared for a while and was brought back to the house scene by Lee Foss and Jamie Jones. Now he’s even bigger than he was 20 years ago. This should be THE ONE this weekend.
Cartulis Day 5th Anniversary
One of London’s most on it promoters when it comes to booking the creme-de-la-creme of house and techno DJs, Cartulis Day celebrate their 5th anniversary this weekend with a huge line-up that includes Fred P, Anton Zap, Nail and Jane Fitz.. and that’s not even half the names who are representing. Contender for party of the week this one!
