Butane is the owner of two exceptional record labels (Alphahouse & Little Helpers), and responsible for a sprawling and impressive discography of original work and remixes.

Against the odds, he believes talent, hard work, dedication to craft, attention to detail, and uncompromising belief in these core principles is the way to conduct a meaningful career in the music business. With this philosophy, Butane has cemented himself as one of the most consistent and polished artists in underground house and techno over the past 10 years. With releases on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Moan and Yoruba Grooves to name a few, whilst 2016 has already seen performances at The BPM Festival and Pacha Barcelona.

Today’s exclusive premiere from Butane comes off his latest “Preacher Man” EP. ‘Dancefloor Brethren’ opens things up with a beautiful, captivating bang. The soothing hang drum creates a soft, blissful melody while filtered hats and bubbling organic percussion hold the dancers in lockstep.

“Preacher Man” is available 6 June on alphahouse
