Premiere: Musumeci – Invaders [Watergate Records]

Premiere: Cardopusher – Temporary Forever [Boysnoize Records]

Cardopusher is back on Boynoize with the first of a two part EP that showcases his multi-genre style. Hailing from Venezuela, his diverse sound takes in rave, acid, electro, techno and house influences and distils them into raw and energetic new forms. ‘Temporary Forever’ is a dirty, rough edged electro track with stiff bass and edgy chords bringing the late-night menace. With his fifth release on Into The Woods Recordings, Maheras delivers “Tartessos,” a nod to his Greek roots and enigmatic journey into minimal dancefloor dub while growing up on the streets of Brooklyn. Opal Sunn are Hiroaki Oba and Al Kassian, two expats from Japan. After releasing two EOs on their own Planet Sundae label, they offer their follow up on Nick Höppner’s new label, Touch From a Distance where they continue to refine their style which displays and exquisite sense of space, melody, movement, and groove. Here, off the “Parallax” EP, ‘Phantom’, favors an Electro beat occasionally kissed by the legendary “Think” break.
