Preview: Woogie Weekend
For 12 years The Do Lab has been curating a stage at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California as well as the iconic Lightning In A Bottle Festival in Bradley, California.
Lightning in A Bottle or LiB for short has set the standard for transformational festivals throughout the United States and the world. The eclectic and diverse range of artists, performers, and attendees come together to spread love in a free-spirited habitat that one may not experience anywhere else. The shared appreciation for music and spirituality creates a community that one might not witness throughout their everyday lifestyles and occurrences and The Do Lab has become experts at encapsulating that mutual gratitude.
For the 2nd year in a row The Do Lab will present another quintessential event to their roster by the name of Woogie Weekend. The first question we asked ourselves was… what is a Woogie? Well we are about to find out. Damian Lazarus, Benoit & Sergio, Jon Hopkins, and Claptone will take to the helms at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, California for 2 days and 2 stages of some immaculate house and techno in an absolute magnificent setting.
Blond:Ish, Eli & Fur, Kidnap Kid, and the astounding Mathew Jonson will also perform as well as Oliver Huntemann, Taches, Mark Farina, Nu, Roman Flugel, Extrawelt, Minilogue, Rodriguez Jr., and plenty more if that isn’t already enough for you techno and house enthusiasts! The environment of this festival is highly interactive, immersive, and Impressive creating a wonderland of activities to create new friendships and further enhance and foster existing ones. Water-themed art installations will be prevalent throughout as well as sunrise yoga sets, live art from Do Art Foundation as well as an array of savory delicacies to satisfy those tastebuds.
Woogie Weekend promotes an eco-friendly habitat living by the ethos “Leave it better, leave it beautiful.” Making it a priority to protect and respect mother earth and mother nature.
