Restored Industrial Warehouse To Be Amsterdam’s Newest Club: DEPOT
Amsterdam’s prolific dance scene is gaining (yet another) new club, located in an industrial warehouse in Amsterdam North.
DEPOT, a rustic warehouse space, will be operated by the Amsterdam-based event organization, VERKNIPT, known for their many Verknipt events, Kingsday Open Air Festival, Wonderland Festival, VERKNIPT Festival and their Amsterdam Dance Event-collaboration with the well-known IBIZA concepts La Familia and ANTS.
DEPOT brings the old industrial warehouse parties back to life with its 7-meter ceilings, solid steel columns, brick details, old factory lamps and concrete walls, for that authentic raw warehouse-feeling. The dancefloor of DEPOT is spacious, yet intimate at 1000m2 leaving room for 1000 guests.
Portraying a strong blend of electronic music from Techno, House, Deep House, Tech House, and talent of all variety, from some world known legends to upcoming and local artists.
The club opens its doors the weekend of February 5th – 6th with a line-up featuring Gary Beck (UK), Juan Sanchez, Tripeo, Ici sans Merci (Friday) and Gabriel Ananda LIVE (DE), Illesnoise, Anotr and Quintin van Hook (Saturday), while the rest of the opening monthsees Mr. G (US), Ansome LIVE, Datasmok, Inigo Kennedy, Zadig, Yan Cook and Jeff Rushin.
