Subjekt Podcast #006 By Jonas Saalbach
With his first release on Einmusika Recordings this Berlin resident has embarked on a journey to new influences and old passions. Jonas Saalbach is also getting known for his refreshing live sets, through which he portrays his dark and deep musical preference.
For the Amsterdam-based Subjekt Recordings, the upcoming artist has created a cool mix full of melodic twists and turns and edgy bass lines. In its one-year history, Subjekt recordings had made an impact by delivering future-minded releases that tingle the mind through their hypnotic, often moody grooves. Such typical atmospheres have so far been proclaimed on the label by Stefan Z, Patlac, disCerN, Kris Davis, Eric Volta, Luis Leon, while a range of upcoming releases are in the works as we speak.
Graceful arrangements and dreamy melodies, Jonas Saalbach sound fits right into the Subjekt philosophy. He constantly reinvents his music but refrains from leaving out distinct nuances, which make his music unmistakably his. The 24 year-old performs his tracks exclusively live and regarding productions, he can already look back on several releases on labels like Einmusik, Click Records and Kollektiv Turmstraße´s imprint Musik Gewinnt Freunde. You´ll also find his music soon on well known labels Moodmusic and Crossfrontier Audio and he has not one but two releases coming up for Subjekt.
