Better known by his artist alias, Jimpster, Jamie Odell is a tastemaker, producer, and label-boss for esteemed labels Freerange and Delusions of Grandeur. This week, Berlin-based artist Fabian Dikof is making his debut on the DHA mixtape series. Balancing between house and techno, Fabian stands for deep productions. Born in 1990, Fabian discovered house music by no less than André Lodemann himself. At this time, André, working on a social project called DJ-Café, taught kids how to develop skills and knowledge for producing music. After years of spinning, digging records but also spending time in the studio, Fabian discovered his way of producing house music. Being in the game for over 20 years, Berlin-based André Lodemann is next up to bat on the DHA Mixtape series. André began producing music in 2001, and went on releasing 12-inches and remixes on a diverse range of record labels such as Moods n Grooves, Simple Records, G-Stone, Room with a View, Z Records, Freerange, Buzzinfly, DFTD amongst others. His tunes ‘Where are you now?’ and ‘The Light’ became hits within the international underground DJ circuit. Other highlights included remixes for Tracey Thorn, Omar, Akabu, Phonique and Vakula.
