Lente Kabinet Festival Line-Up Released

Dekmantel daughter organization Lente Kabinet has come out with its full line-up this week. As can be expected, the guys who run the outfit haven’t held back in booking some pretty exciting names for the event which is set on May 30th. Next to the fair share of stunning headliners like Nicolas Jaar and Moodymann and Ben UFO, some more obscure names are also well-represented as well, like Chicago disco dame The Black Madonna, Trouw favourite Barnt, Palms Trax and Lena Wilikens. Phase 1 Of Dimensions Festival Line-Up Announced

Croatia-based Dimensions Festival has released the first phase of their line-up this week. The organization has made it clear again that they’re a force to be reckoned with within the Balkan region, where an underground dance music scene seems to be blossoming more and more. The first names for Dimensions 2015 include such top-of-the-bill names as Lil Louis, Ben UFO, Delano Smith, Mount Kimbie and Moodymann. Life And Death BPM Showcase Preview

Berlin based label Life And Death kicks off the brand new year with a showcase at the BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The versatile imprint is known for bringing along DJ’s who are not signed to the label and give the line-up a surprising twist. At the latest Amsterdam Dance Event for example, DJ Harvey was the eye catcher in a disco oriented room hosted by DJ Tennis. At BPM it’s Ben UFO and Joy Orbison. 2014 Resident Advisor DJ Poll Results

As you could probably tell by some blatantly touting DJ posts last week, it was that time again: the yearly RA poll for best DJ.
