Last year, Matador launched his RUKUS imprint with his own artist LP ‘Ructions’, eventually inviting his close network of like minded producers to rework & remix the LP. Interview: Barem

Barem released his first successful track as a free download in 2005 and a year later was already being featured by Minus. His prolific output with Richie Hawtin‘s seminal purveyor of minimal techno, saw Barem release a series of EPs, finding himself on the lineups of festivals likes Mutek and Movement, culminating with the release of his 2011 long player, “After The Storm”. Buenos Aires To Ban Electronic Music Festivals Following Time Warp Deaths

With the recent deaths at Buenos Aires’ Time Warp festival, the Argentine capital is putting a temporary ban on all music festival’s effective immediately. 5 death and 4 others landed in critical condition during 15 April Time Warp festival, each attributed to drug overdoses. With that, the city’s mayor Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, says it will stop issuing permits for big electronic music festivals until new legislation relating to drug use is formed.
