One of the strangest, and most destructive, professional sports promotions of all time, Chicago’s infamous “Disco Demolition” night, is the subject of a new documentary, which you can watch in full now. The doc, from Red Bull Music Academy, is a 15 minute look at one night in 1979 where Chicago’s White Sox baseball team went up against the Detroit Tigers on the city’s South Side Comiskey Park. Henry Saiz Launches World-Traveling Audio Visual Project

Essentially an audio visual album, Henry Saiz has turned to Kickstarter to help fund the ambitious new project. The album is meant to be written in various exotic locales across the globe, drawing inspiration while also providing the visual elements of the film component. Some of the locations Saiz looks to travel to are Joshua Tree, Tokyo, and the Canary Islands. Set to expose Iran’s underground techno scene, a new documentary tracks the plight of a Tehranian DJ duo as they face struggle, danger, and persecution.
