Kappa FuturFestival 2015 Line Up Announced

Kappa FuturFestival, the daytime, urban, summer dance music festival, has announced its line up for their 4th edition, bringing along a mix of international and local headliners. For Saturday you can expect a back to back set by Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock. If this wouldn’t be enough they will be joined by Diynamic label boss Solomun, German duo Pan-Pot and Tuskegee compadres Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers. McDonald’s: “No Budget For Artists Playing Our SXSW Showcase”

No, this isn’t a Wunderground article. Brian Harding, who plays in the band Ex Cops recently wrote about a questionable statement he received during a McDonald’s pitch for their showcase this year at Austin USA’s SXSW Festival. The billion dollar company apparently had “no budget” to pay the artists playing at their stage. However, the company will hand out “free burgers” to all the artists involved. Free Water At Festivals Enforced By Amsterdam Mayor

Mayor van der Laan of Amsterdam has called on every festival organization in Amsterdam to make free refills of water bottles possible at future outdoor events. The decision was made together with the VVD delegation in the city council.
