Now, after years of hits, Pleasurekraft have recently released their debut album “Friends, Lovers, & Other Constellations,” a project with the unmistakeable Pleasurekraft fingerprint throughout its 11 tracks. CRSSD FEST: A(nother) Step Forward In The US Dance Music Scene

This past weekend Southern California house and techno aficionados came together at the Waterfront park in San Diego to prance, dance, and drink craft beer at the bi-annual CRSSD Festival. I hadn’t been back myself since my trip in March of 2016 for their spring addition and honestly, not much had changed in the year and half I was away. The festival may be in its seventh instalment, but it’s not changing or growing too fast to fit the crowds. Instead, the festival remains the same small size with three stages: The Palms stage, focusing on house artists; The City ... Read more

Premiere: Bas Roos – Lazy Chords (Giom Remix)

Somewhere between West coast Deep House, classic French house and NuDisco lies the sound of Giom. Maybe that’s why the London-based Frenchman’s music has been supported by such an impressive list DJs: Claptone, DJ Sneak, Green Velvet, Joey Negro, Jimpster, Mark Knight, Sharam Jey to Kolombo, it seems everybody needs a bit of the Giom sound in their DJ sets. In the summer of 2014 his song ‘Dr. Zapp’ went to #1 on the Beatport Indie/NuDisco Top 100. Dirtybird Campout Drops Second Phase And We’re Officialy Excited

Growing up in Maine one of my favorite parts of the summer every year was the week when I got to go away to camp. It meant meeting a bunch of new friends with common interests, playing games, and of course staying up way too late telling stories. A lot of the friends I made at such camps were friends I kept for life. As I have gotten older I certainly see that attending music festivals every summer has taken the place of camp. I get excited planning and packing and preparing. I make friends I’ll never forget and open ... Read more

Party Report: Amsterdam Open Air 2016

Needless to say Amsterdam Open Air Festival got really lucky with the weather on both of its days, as it tends to do year in and year out. Saturday seemed to lean slightly more towards hip-hop, pop and Caribbean electronic music acts, however there was always the Straf_Werk stage to run to for all the true house aficionados. The line-up was solid: Finnebassen started, with Jonas Rathsman following up with an unusually light set for him, perfectly fitting for the midday. He was followed by, apparently, a great fit of Nuno Dos Santos and Tsepo playing a B2B sunset set, finished ... Read more

Everyone involved was a seasoned festival goer and this was obvious from outfit choices to the level of commitment to the party and the vibe curated by everyone involved. Firstly, after walking in the gates of CRSSD one notes how beautiful the location is. The waterfront park sits directly on the water and boasts pirate ships and fountains ... Read more
