Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Burned Down In Fire, Arson Suspected

There was a fire at Hamburg venue Golden Pudel this weekend. The club, a favourite in the city, was opened at the time, with around 150 people inside. Luckily, every person could escape the venue in time, leaving none injured. Groove has reported that local authorities are treating the fire as arson, although no specifics have been released as to what makes them presume that the fire was not the result of natural circumstances. Watch With This German Marching Band Cover Of Âme’s ‘REJ’

Straight into the weekend, we’ve got the perfect light hearted start to yours with this fun video straight out of Germany. MEUTE aka “The Techno Marching Band” took to the Hamburg streets with their own version of Âme’s deep house classic ‘Rej’. The group is made up of a dozen drummers and brass from Hamburg and Berlin who cast brass versions of dance classics. Their combination of hypnotic driving techno and expressive brass music evokes the archaic conglomerate of sheet metal, welding and drums up a new genre.
