Draaimolen Festival Returns With Strongest Lineup To Date

This year, Draaimolen celebrates their fifth anniversary with several special events marking the occasion. So far, these celebrations have included a sold-out birthday celebration with a Nous’Klaer showcase in April and an extra special (soon to be announced) line-up for a free festival Holy Pink in July. Still though, the centerpiece of it all remains Draaimolen Festival 2018, which returns to its beloved location Charlotte Oord on 15 September. Strange Sounds From Beyond Expands To Weekender For 2018 Festival

After two seasons of shining a light on novel sounds and under celebrated artists, Amsterdam’s intimate Strange Sounds From Beyond festival is back in 2018 with a weekender for its third edition. As usual going down at Noordlicht Cafe, Strange Sounds From Beyond takes over the 23 – 24 June, 2018 weekend, alongside the likes of Rush Hour, Red Light Radio and The Rest Is Noise. Dekmantel Release First Edition Of “Selectors” Documentary Series

Leading up to Dekmantel‘s 2016 edition and their September Croatian adventure, the festival and Grolsch have just kicked off their “Selectors” Documentary series. The first edition takes an in depth look at Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio and Red Light Records, speaking with the crews behind each. The radio station and “Digger’s Paradise” record shop act as seminal community hubs for underground dance music in Amsterdam, pushing out a passion for music that is unquestionable. Nachtiville, the Dutch sister of the German Nachtdigital festival has just announced the second wave of artists for their upcoming debut in De Eemhof, a bungalow park in the . The second lineup announcement for Nachtiville further undermines the musical approach of the festival’s inaugural edition.
