Last weekend saw the fifth edition of Amsterdam’s beloved Pitch Festival. Held at Westergasfabriek, the festival, known for the best and newest crossover acts and DJ’s, delivered what was promised. As Saturday, 4 July was one of the hottest days we have had in Western Europe the past few years, we tried not to burn ourselves out too early, arriving around 4 pm. Celebrating the 50th instalment in its famed DJ-Kicks mixtape series, German label !K7 has revived its DJ trading card series. Originally launched in 1996, featuring such artists as Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, DJ Hell, Derrick May, and Juan Atkins, the newly relaunched set of 20 includes such names as Nina Kraviz, Actress, Carl Craig, Four Tet, Will Saul, Maceo Plex, Maya Jane Coles and John Talabot. Each card features stats like the number of bookings each has racked up over the past year, their longest ever track length, remixes and social fan count. DGTL Festival 2015 Report: Sunday

About a week ago DGTL kicked off the festival season and it was a blast. Enough time to retrospect on the two day event. Here’s day two of the festival report. The easter sunday started with quite a long train ride for me.
