Premiere: M.A.N.D.Y. Feat. Nonku Phiri - Hi End (Re.You Remix)

Originally released on their long awaited album ‘Double Fantasy’, ‘Hi End’ features the talent of South Africa’s Nonku Phiri and has been produced by M.A.N.D.Y together with pianist Francesco Tristano. Here, Re.You gives the track another hit of tech house love with rhythmic synths holding the tempo on top and releasing plenty of energy to shake the even the coldest of floors till the sun rises. “Hi End” is available 22 December (Beatport) & 5 January (ROW) on Get Physical Music

Interview: M.A.N.D.Y.

In the Midst of ADE our editor Steve Rickinson met up with the guys of M.A.N.D.Y., Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer to discuss their very first album release in 15 years – “Double Fantasy”. The two decades spanning career of two childhood friends bought for the love of music, lead them to a place of recognition and influence just as much their sensuous sets as their involment in the Get Physical label. On the 6th of June, Arnhem-based Free Your Mind Festival is celebrating its 12th edition, placing them among some of the longest-running dance festivals of the Netherlands. The first names that were confirmed include some serious headliners, including Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Art Department and Butch. Watergate Berlin is of course known for its majestic clubbing experience.
