Premiere: Konvex & The Shadow Feat. Frag - Shining Like Haloes (The Drifter Remix)

These TOP CLASS reinterpretations of Konvex & The Shadow’s “Shining Like Haloes” (including Stimming) will be one of the highlights of the year for sure. The Drifter productions and DJ sets lean towards the hypnotic, melodic and emotive side of electronic music. Which has been picked up in the remix as well by striping back the original track and infusing some dancefloor elements with class.

Premiere: Crawford - We Go Back (Brame & Hamo Remix)

Following on from the epic Hammer e.p. and subsequent remix package, Loft Records return for their 7th release enlisting the expertise of Crawford to provide two original tracks with remixes from Brame & Hamo and Kiwi. Here, Irish duo Brame & Hamo are first up to take on remix duties for ‘We Go Back’. They rework the arp lines and pads for the intro before dropping it into a tougher techno workout of heavy duty synth stabs, epic ride cymbals and dreamy textures. “We Go Back” is available 20 July on LOFT Records PRE ORDER

Premiere: Pional - XME (A Quiet Ceremony Mix)

At the end of the month, panish producer extraordinaire Pional joins the Phonica Records family with his “XME / One Night Stand’ 12”. Producing for over a decade, the Madrid based musician has enjoyed a string of well received solo releases via Hivern Discs, Permanent Vacation, Young Turks and Counter, while remixing the likes of The xx, Chairlift, The Rapture, Prins Thomas and John Talabot. Now, the duo’s Pets Recordings boot down the doors of 2018 with a five track remix package. Once in a while you find an artist thats far from the norm and anything else you heard before but so good and intimate that it instantly grabs you. As so with fryhide‘s latest signing. Montreal based Singer and Songwriter Groj delivers the 10th release on HOSH‘s fryhide imprint. It’s Dance but it certainly offers another emotional dimension to it. Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, Daniel Hunt, Reuben Wu formed Ladytron in Liverpool, England in 1999. They broke through in the early 2000s with the Light & Magic and Witching Hour albums.
