ADE Returns To Texas For 2nd SXSW Showcase Series

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will return to one of the great American cities, Austin, Texas, for the 2017 South by Southwest Music, Tech, and Film Conference. Running from 15 – 17 March, ADE will present three exclusive showcases alongside Dekmantel, Red Light Radio, and Applesap festival. The program features the diverse spectrum of the Dutch Capital’s creative industry with the likes of Max Abysmal, Casper Tielrooij, Orpheu the Wizard, Woody, and more representing. Amsterdam Dance Events Announce 2017 Dates, International Showcases

From 18 – 22 October, 2017, the dance music world will once again convene in Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The announcement comes alongside news that ADE’s 22nd edition will also feature an expansion into Mumbai and the US, with February and March sessions, respectively. McDonald’s: “No Budget For Artists Playing Our SXSW Showcase”

No, this isn’t a Wunderground article. Brian Harding, who plays in the band Ex Cops recently wrote about a questionable statement he received during a McDonald’s pitch for their showcase this year at Austin USA’s SXSW Festival. The billion dollar company apparently had “no budget” to pay the artists playing at their stage. However, the company will hand out “free burgers” to all the artists involved.
