DVS1 Brings The Wall Of Sound To ADE With Helena Hauff, Karenn & More

Since first setup in 2015, DVS1 continues to bring the concept of the wall of sound to European clubs and crowds a single time per year. With each event, DVS1 presents a different speaker setup working alongside various sound companies with the aim to provide an unparalleled sonic experience. The concept is closely linked to the American artist’s past, as the massive sound systems of the 90s US-Midwest rave scene molded his vision of Techno as based on the physical power of music. ADE 2016 Report: HYTE x Used + Abused

Nestled 200m away from Isolatorweg metro station lay Warehouse Elementenstraat. A red glow attracted thousands and drew them into HYTE. The metro station was full of tired party goers reluctantly awaiting their last dance of ADE 2016. Excited squeals and eager laughs emanated whilst the queue wound round the neighbouring warehouse. Each of which were embellished with slicked back, grey-sprayed hair, dark eye make-up and skin tight outfits made from mesh. The whole concept reminded me somewhat of the ideology you’d expect from Berghain. Once entering the venue, the ... Read more
