Thuishaven Wintercircus Invite Super Flu and Edu Imbernon Coming Sunday
As Spring is carefully setting in, Thuishaven Wintercircus is readying for its final two events. Next up is this week’s edition, where they have invited fun-loving globetrotters Super Flu and Edu Imbernon as their main acts that day.
Super Flu are Feliks and Mathias, two friends from Halle, Germany with a knack for incredibly appealing sets that immediately puts a smile on your face. The duo has scored numerous hits that delve into the soulful, mellow side of house music, while underpinning the musical history that made dance music possible in the first place. Like “Super Flu Loves Isaac“, the euphoric sample-heavy festival anthem that exploded back in 2012.
Spanish matador Edu Imbernon will be topping the bill alongside the two German crowdpleasers. Edu is no stranger to the crowd this Sunday, as he made quite the impression at his debut at Thuishaven last Summer. No doubt that the driving, bass-heavy sound of the artist, who released on labels such as Culprit, Suara and Stil Vor Talent, will cause a stir on the dance floor.
Also contributing in the main stag are Mike Ravelli and Brent Roozendaal. Mike Ravelli is somewhat of a Thuishaven resident, with many appearances and memorable moments under his belt. His sets hover between house and techno, and adapt to whatever the setting is, from peak-time rallies to exquisite opening performances.

Brent Roozendaal, the man behind Drift and Breakfast Club among other events, is a true connoisseur of the entire spectrum of dance music, as can be heard, for instance, in his vinyl-only mix for us back in 2013. His dubby sound is drenched in relentless grooves that will get the vibe going in no time.

But that’s not all, of course. As the main has got itself some serious competition in the form of the Thuishaven cafe, where the musical aspect is taken less seriously, but makes Not in the least place because of Shrimp the never disappointing Shrimp DJ & Nike Air Jordi. Their mixing skills might be sloppy, but the atmosphere they generate has turned Thuishaven cafe into an even greater disorganized playground. Other contributors to the mayhem in the cafe are De Lijst and Cult45, and of course Thuishaven regular Jan Bakker will tap you a mean beer behind the bar.
With that in mind, you know where you can get your kicks on the last day of the weekend.
