It’s not been a bad year for Cardiff duo Bodhi. Taking control of Mixmag’s Mix Of The Week in February, they’ve also released an EP on Sinden’s Grizzy label, performing at Glastonbury and were booked abroad, with gigs in France, Spain and the Netherlands.

After sharing a free download for their remix of Sampha’s ear-soothing ‘Without‘ in September, they unveiled the title track, taken from their recently released ‘Imperfection‘ EP on Australian label Future Classic.

No More’, the accompanying track on the release, is a slightly heavier affair than the two’s previous material, breaking into a ruthless onslaught of floor-shaking bass just over a minute in, set among a whirl of sharp snares, warped synths and the smooth, repeated vocal cuts.

The ‘Imperfection’ EP is out now on Future Classic. Check out ‘No More’ here.

The Bodhi boys are visiting Amsterdam by the way, on November 29th, when they play their gig at Wereldvreemd at H7 Warehouse. They’re performing together with their fellow countrymen Audiojack, the marvellous Hector Couto, and Amsterdam’s finest, like Cinnaman, Prunk, Alexander Valentyn and Elias Mazian among others. Make sure you have a clear schedule the following day, cause it’s gonna be heavy.
