After releasing solid material from Clancy and Urulu, including remix work by the likes of Cosmic Disco ambassador Prins Thomas, it’s time for the ever-forward thinking Good Guy Mikesh to be added to the roster. With Cookies EP, Mikesh dives into the deeper shades of house, as well as some well thought through synth spectacles that are aimed for lifting up the dance floor.
#02 Franck Roger – Tiger in The Hood | Solarism
On A1 of Solarism’s second release, Franck Roger brings a real fusion of Cosmics and classic Deep House vibes, remembering his first love with electronic music but definitely oriented to his nowaday modern vision of sounds.
#01 Patrice Bäumel – Speicher 89 | KOMPAKT
A powerful addition to Patrice Bäumel’s steadily growing Kompakt catalog, Speicher 89 is the third contribution to the series from the Dutch producer and former Trouw resident. Hitting dance floors in the wake of Speicher 81 (2014) and Speicher 85 (2015), this offering delivers a duo of massive belters, headlined by cyber-calypso manifesto “Dum Dum” and backed with techno string showdown “Surge.”
