Last month Awakenings, the world’s biggest Techno Festival and event brand, asked you, the fans, what your favorite Techno tracks were of all time.
The request came in anticipation of the festival’s massive 20th anniversary 2017 celebrations, which lead up to the summer festival by way of a special multi day event series, 13-16 April. At the event, several of the artists featured on this list, including Jeff Mills (#1), Ben Klock (#2), and Adam Beyer (#7, #9 & #18 – with Ida Engberg) will be headlining.
The complete chart is included in the book AWAKENINGS: 20 Years of Techno, a so-called coffee table book containing the story of Awakenings by means of some fifty interviews with the world’s biggest techno DJs.
