The New Balance 1500 is one of the sneaker world’s most customisable shoes. Why? I couldn’t tell you as I am in no way a sneaker head, but I have found myself partial to a nice pair of New balance’s from time to time, and seeing these I.WANT.
Unfortunately, that may probably never happen as only 3 pairs have been designed (by Brooklyn-based turntablist and sneaker designer, Revive Customs). Nevertheless, the Technics 1200 inspired design is sleek, while staying true to the iconic turntables recognisable aesthetics.
So, check out the sneaker porn below (it really gives new meaning to the term “DJ Kicks”…sorry…couldn’t resist) and be on the lookout via ebay, or similar means, for when they appear. The shoe itself was designed back in 2012, but with a new Technics on the way, perhaps the “vinyl resurgence” will bring these beauties back.
