Chit-Chat! Some of you already know it, some of you are about to! This is a unique interview series, currently hosted on Deep House Amsterdam (DHA), where we invite DJs and Producers for a relaxed chat with host Tina Blaškovič. Chit-Chat aims to provide a fun, relaxing environment where artists and host are free to converse in an open, organic way, bypassing your standard promotional talk, instead focusing on the personality behind the decks.
This time Chit Chat hosts special guest – Max Chapman. Anticipating his first time playing Panama (one of DJMag’s Top 100 Clubs), and after his first USA tour, many successful releases and gigs, we had a chance to invite him for a chatter over a good cup of ginger tea. Just outside the East Side Amsterdam’s Muiderpoort station we discovered an amazing bar called SUE that accepted us with the cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and aesthetically pleasing setting.

For those of you who may not know, Max has been a DHA favorite for some time. Ever since his 2011 debut (at just 23, mind you), Max has gone strength to strength, releasing on the likes of WOW!, Hot Creations, Snatch, Elrow (including the Beatport #1 – ‘Body Jack’), Lost, Madtech, (his own imprint) Resonance, Toolroom, and VIVa, (Find all Max’ releases via Beatport – HERE) to name a few. Naturally, Max is also a globe trotting DJ ploughing through set after set at the likes of Elrow, Kaluki, Sankey’s, Fabric & Do Not Sleep this summer. Through 2017, keep a look out for releases on WOW! (14 April), Elrow (15 May), Relief (24 June), and Hot Creations (TBC).
