It’s upon us, the biggest Holiday celebrations of the year, and with virtually every local crew showcasing their concepts at venues across the city, it’s harder than ever to navigate the slew of events coming tonight, tomorrow, and beyond…
But, that’s where we come in, and here is a list (in no real order of preference…except a full on recommendation for tonight’s Next Monday’s Hangover with Jennifer Cardini and DJ Tennis as a personal must attend) of our top events of the coming days. Where will we find you over these coming days?
Kingsnight
Next Monday’s Hangover – Het Sieerad
Our top recommendation for the festivities of the coming days sees Correspondant and Life and Death heads, Jennifer Cardini and DJ Tennis, respectively, going into the early hours with Some Chemistry on supporting duties.
Radion Kingsnight – Radion
MOOD brings the old-school electro, funk of DJ Bone to RADION, with Berghain/Panoramabar staple Tama Sumo heading up duties in the Bovenkamer.
Antal & Peggy Gou – Shelter
This one’s been sold out for a minute but maybe if you line up early above Amsterdam’s most subterranean nightspot you’ll manage to find your way in. If you do, its Antal and Peggy Gou doing there thing for the surely enthusiastic crowd.
Kingsday
Oranjebloesem Festival 2018 – Blijburg Aan Zee
A staple event of Kingsday festivities, Oranjebloesem takes over Blijburg aan Zee, the city’s beautiful go-to beach destination, to offer underground music lovers the perfect alternative to the downtown area. On this day, the likes of DJ Tennis, KiNK, Tom Trago, Plams Trax and more take to the dunes of the vast lake, the IJmeer.
Cartel Kingsday 2018 – WesterUnie
Taking place indoor, outdoor, day ánd night on Friday, Cartel brings a bull on WesterUnie takeover for Kingsday 2018. Expect the likes of Optimo, Antal, David Vunk, Move D, and more to each do their part in the massive 19 hour musical takeover. Tickets are almost gone here though so jump on that final release.
Breakfast Club – Undercurrent
As always, Breakfast Club will serve up its royal tradition on Kingsday, heading to the glittering skyline of Undercurrent. It’s two dance floors and lush outside chill terrace will feature the sounds of Levon Vincent, Nicolas Lutz, Oceanic, Samuel Deep, JP Enfant and more…with a free breakfast served up by Yo Mama.
These Guys Kingsday – NDSM Treehouse
Back again, These Guys Kingsday bring a 100% FREE event and, for the first time, a second Treehouse stage. Join the likes of Interstellar Funk, Mid Miran, Job Sifre, Upsammy and more and the party goes on and on, and then on some more into Sexyland once the 8pm NDSM cutoff goes down.
