Many BPMs ago, the Polish born Producer/DJ VONDA7 found herself in Berlin as a purveyor of hypnotic grooves.
Previously a music journalist in her hometown of Poznan, PL, VONDA7 since journeyed to Amsterdam’s SAE Institute, which kicked off her love for analogue gear, and its combination with digital technologies. This led to VONDA7 being declared winner of a worldwide DJ/Producer competition held by Burn & W Hotels back in 2013. Over the last couple of years, this naturally talented Producer has found her work featured on the likes of Guy Gerber‘s RUMORS, with a Second State release rounding out 2016. VONDA7 then kicked off 2017 with a remix of VAULTS ‘Hurricane,’ and a huge release on Sasha‘s Last Night on Earth imprint, “Decompression” which is now available.
Now, with a huge record collection that can satisfy the most discerning of Berlin tastes, VONDA7’s sets are an eclectic and hypnotic journey through sound, yet always returning to the soul of to the soul of Detroit techno. 2017 is going to be a big year, so we’re glad to have her on board early.
