Behind KMLN (pronounced Kameleon) is Shawna Hofmann and Christopher Tooker, two wanderers with a history for cross- pollinating the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of tomorrow.
The duo’s music, which features live instrumentation that blends elements of deep tribal house and minimal techno, has received support from prominent artists such as Solomun, Acid Pauli, Damian Lazarus, Mira, Nico Stojan, Bedouin, DOP, Nicola Cruz and more, while appearing on imprints like Sol Selectas, Touch of Class, Crosstown Rebels and Endless.
