Rex The Dog joins the DHA Mix Series with a ‘selection of resonant acidic analogue bony body music…’ [sic]
Coming fresh off a stellar remix on seminal imprint Correspondant for Kiwi, we’re happy to welcome him to our mix series.
Rex The Dog makes and performs music with analogue electronics and a self-built Modular Synthesizer. He carries this precious machinery around the world, bringing his idiosyncratic sounds to crowds at the clubs, festivals and smaller parties.
This has included everywhere from Berlin’s hallowed Panorama Bar, to an intimate pop up gig in a Barcelona record store. Rex has released on Kompakt Records since his first EP ‘Prototype’ in 2004, as well as Kitsuné and Southern Fried.
Now we dive into the mind of the modular selector as he joins us for Mix #410.
