It’s official! Deep House Amsterdam has its very own label. The honours for the debut release have been bestowed on Marlon Hoffstadt. In celebration of this moment he has made a special podcast, filled with tracks signifying his style: deep, funky and lush vocal work. Get ready for this twenty-something German-bred talent.
The Berlin-based DJ/Producer started his career ath the age of 17, producing his first EP while studying for his A levels. His debut EP ‘You And A Lovestoned Ghost’ was released by Germany’s Evamore Music. Subsequent releases have featured collaborations with David Keno, HRRSN and Cleov, and have been released by labels including BBE, K7 Records and Off Recordings. Hoffstadt also created an exclusive ‘You Need To Hear This’ mixtape for Noisey.
It wasn’t before long that the young budding artist had achieved success through various releases on label such as Stil Vor Talent, OFF Recordings, Play It Down, Keno Records, Suol Music, Light My Fire, Evamore, as well as his own imprint ‘WellDone!’. It brought him success in the form of bookings around the world, touching down in places like Columbia, Miami, Moscow, Australia, UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, and Poland.
His most groundbreaking track to date is undoubtedly ‘Shake That’ with Dansson. ‘Shake That’ was one of the top 5 most shazamed track in Ibiza in 2013 and was originally signed by respected DJ, Jesse Rose to his label ‘Play It Down’.
Now, Marlon Hoffstadt will realize the first release on our brand new DHA Records. Keep a close watch on our socials to stay up to date on info and the release date.
