Graffiti artist Dean Zeus Coleman aka “Zeus” has grabbed hold of the artistic qualities of ecstasy  and created huge, stylised plaster versions of actual pills for a series called ‘Love is a Drug’.

The sleekly designed tablets have a somewhat obvious pop art potential, made even more striking by their unapologetic blackmarket branding throughout the years. Pills have come in all shapes and colours, while sporting logos ranging from car companies to cartoon characters. Some may even describe it as the world’s first postmodern drug: a branded high, where the better the effect, the higher the “brand” recognition.

So, with that in mind, check out Zeus gallery of post modern pop art below. I’ll be honest, I can see the Bart Simpson or Wu Tang Clan hanging in my living room.
