If you’re into aesthetic, cinematographic music videos, then we have something very special in store for you. Because we have the pleasure to premiere the video for Homework’s brand new track ‘The Way I See It’. The noirish, sci-fi visuals in their new clip reinforce the powerful namesake of their latest EP.
Since Tom, one half of the Amsterdam duo, created the video himself we asked where the images come from and how the project originated:
“For ‘The Way I See It’ we were looking for a visual representation of the character of the track. Although some might feel differently, the production has a sort of dark, moody feel to it and Bea’s poetic vocals brought another layer of mystery to the whole affair. Due to some scheduling conflicts we weren’t able to shoot original material for the video and so we decided to turn this one into another homage to a forgotten gem from the archives of cinema history – like we have done in the past with other tracks on Exploited. Then I remembered this great, underrated sci-fi movie from the late 90’s that perfectly captured the feel of the track. I edited it down to make some sense as a short video clip and this is what we’ve ended up with.”
‘The Way I See It’ EP is out now.
