This coming July 4-7, Exit Festival is back in Novi Sad, Serbia. Once again, they are still featuring all the best dance music talents one would dream of. Hosted at the Petrovaradin Fortress, here is what our schedule looks like:
Day 1: Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Charlotte De Witte, Monika Kruse.
Day 2: Boris Brejcha, Peggy Gou, Giorgia Angiuli.
Day 3: Solomun +1 ft. Tale Of Us, Adriatique.
Day 4: Jeff Mills, Amelie Lens, Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger

Of course, they have many more acts but those are the ones really standing out for us. Find below some selected artists we never get tired of listening to at the DHA headquarters.

PEGGY GOU

South Korea born – Berlin based Peggy Gou, made some noise recently with her tune “Han Pan”, topping the charts on Beatport. It’s funky, uplifting, If you haven’t heard it, save yourself..it will surely put a smile on your face instantly…Not mentioning the dope acid edit she did of “At night” for Defected records.

GIORGIA ANGIULI

Giorgia Angiuli says she’s sorry she’s not a DJ. Well, we forgive her. Her unique approach of using toys on the fly to sample them is really cool. She can sing, play the keyboard and god only knows what else! Do not miss Giorgia at Exit Festival, she’s one of the few true live artists in this world.

AMELIE LENS

On the techno side we have Charlotte De Witte and Amelie Lens both playing the MTS Dance Arena, be ready for a special treat! Belgian native Amelie Lens launched Lenske just over a year ago, the top seller from the label on Beatport, of course, comes from her and it’s a dance floor banger! Hear it on the dance floor and for sure…you’ll never be the same!

CHARLOTTE DE WITTE

Her fellow Belgian Charlotte De Witte has already taken the world by storm delivering solid performances at Ultra Miami (alongside Carl Cox), Time Warp Mannheim and Awakenings.  She released music on Drum Code, Suara and more recently did a “Space Invaders” remix for Eyes Everywhere, what we would call straight up warehouse music, with no concession!

Maceo Plex needs no introduction, his labels Ellum and Lone Romantic are two of the most respected in the game. His latest EP “When The Lights Are out” is showing how versatile the man can be. It’s deep, old-school, experimental, trippy… go check it out! His DJ schedule this summer is totally insane with gigs in England, Spain, Holland, America and of course Ibiza. Talking about Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza resident Solomun will make a most awaited appearance in Serbia, his set from last year is still being talked about. The Bosnian born –now Luxembourg based artist, will bring his partners in crime Tale of Us for his infamous +1 concept. The Italian duo has had a fantastic year, and are simply unstoppable. Their ‘After Life’ imprint and party concept are leading in the electronic music scene right now, showcasing the likes of Adriatique, Stephan Bodzin, Recondite, Mind Against, newcomers like Colyn and more. And that after only 3 years of existence. As they stated via Pulse Radio: “The label and events will complement each other with one aim; to bring the crowd into another dimension of music perception with enthralling production to that ignite the senses.”

LEE BURRIDGE

Lee Burridge, owner at All Day I Dream has been already touring for a couple of decades, but he has still a lot in the tank. His recent Essential mix for BBC Radio 1 is a fine glimpse at his great DJ skills. It features groovy beats, moody songs, and even classical chants.

The festival has just released the full and final line up. Check for full line up and tickets here.
