Born and raised in Xalapa, Mexico, Rebolledo started DJing in 2002 and quickly became resident at the legendary ‘Santanera’ club in Playa Del Carmen.
From there, Rebolledo developed his very own style of DJing, mixing old, new and oddball dance tunes, driven by the persistent groove of disco. With releases on the likes of Hippie Dance and Kompakt, to name only two, Rebolledo inaugurated the latter label’s history with the pirate-disco anthem, ‘Pitaya Frenesi‘, and was also the first to release an album on Cómeme, ‘Supervato‘. Additionally, Rebolledo is half of the hitmaking duo Pachanga Boys (alongside Superpitcher).
On 17 June 2015, Rebolledo joins the likes of Maceo Plex, GusGus, Danny Daze, Gabriel Ananda, Shall Ocin, WhoMadeWho, and many more, as FACT kicks off their OFF Week‘ FACT Music Pool Series of events with a special Ellum showcase in Barcelona. Getting you ready for the kick off to one of dance music’s best weeks, we have a very special mix from Rebolledo, as he takes you into the sunshine of the Catalan coast.
As they have for the past few years, the FACT Music Pool Series returns to OFF Week, continuing its commitment to bringing multiple electronic shades in a unique open air location, designed for the first rays of sun to be enjoyed. The FACT Music Pool Series is a carefully orchestrated event series in which five brands have taken part in every production detail, aimed at improving the overall poolside experience, from rare Off-Week acts to line ups compounded entirely of heavy hitters.
Aside from Ellum, expect showcases from Mobilee, along with prominent Berlin nightspot Watergate, and Romania’s Next Wave crew. Additionally, to mark FACT’s fifth anniversary, a fifth date has been added to the musical marathon, in which over 70 acclaimed DJs, artists and creators will perform on an incredible sound system over two stages with Magda, Damian Lazarus, Mathew Jonson, Benoit & Sergio, Fur Coat and more as FACT Turns 5.
