Music industry veterans and good friends Mehdi & Hedi teamed up to produce an epic rework of Prince’s classic ‘If I Was Your Girlfriend’.
Raised by a Jazz singer, Mehdi Deyes developed a passion for music at an early age. Ever since 1989, Mehdi has been a frequent visitor of all kinds of electronic dance events all over the world. Especially his trips to Belgium have been of great influence on his sound.
Tunisian Dutch, Hedi Ouali started producing music back in 1996 under his handle “Cahe” with support from Sander Kleinenberg.
Through Mehdi Deyes’ project Ibiza Residencies, a coffee table book with more than 250 artists featured that have or had a residency in Ibiza all the way from 1987 until now (coming in 2020), he was able to get support by the likes of Pete Tong, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales and Paul Oakenfold amongst many others.
