Put Swedish Bambook and Italian Mennie in the same room. Spice it up with vocals perfectly executed by Los Angeles based Cari Golden and you have “Slip Away”, their new collaborative creation. The original title-track is a smooth and purveys a summery vibe with a dark edge, in part because of the dominant and ominous bass line that holds the suspense throughout the cut.

Bambook, consisting of Eiad Sayegh and Hannes Netzell, are no strangers to the house scene having released a superb EP ‘What’s The Use’, also with Cari Golden on vocals, that was heavily supported by Maceo Plex. As well as receiving support from internationally renowned DJs & producers, the pairing have released on the likes of Circus Recordings, Apollo, Global Underground and since released tracks on Get Physical Music, Faceless Recordings, Ellum Audio, Needwant, next to a host of remixes.

Supporting them in the studio for “Slip Away” is Mennie. Born in 1987 Mennie is a versatile artist determinate to emerge from the Italian scene. His music moves from the old roots of House to all his kind of shades with some touches of Tech. Soon noticed by the italian master Mario Piu, they started a massive collaboration that brought Mennie at a new level with the track “Get Enough”, named in the “Beatport Top 10 Tracks Of 2012” for the Indie NuDisco category and the same reached the position #1 in Indie NuDisco Chart for over than 3 weeks.
