Following up from the well-received ‘This Is Not The End’ EP on his own Fine Human Records, Dino Lenny returns, this time with BBC Radio 1 Future Star Doorly in tow.
Dino Lenny started as a radio DJ in a small town in the South of Italy where he started working his way up until he moved to the United Kingdom, his native country in 1996. Here is career really kicked off, with remixes for Inxs, Underworld, Missy Elliot, Timbaland and collaborations with The Housemartins, Scissors Sisters and Madonna, just to name a few. His originals make just as much of an impact as his remixes, earning him the ‘Essential New Tune’ label on Radio One (BBC) a mere three times.
For ‘The Magic Room’ on Fine Human Records he teamed up with musical polymath Doorly. The LA based producer, DJ, radio presenter and promoter who got discovered by by Pete Tong in his hometown of Huddersfield when he played at one of Doorly’s famous Afterparty Warehouse events. The now UK export, Doorly relocated to Los Angeles, California at the end of 2012 and has been busy and rapidly rising Stateside since then.
‘The Magic Room’ was originally released as a bootleg in 2014 under the name ‘Loden in Ny’, an anagram of Dino Lenny. After receiving incredible feedback Dino Lenny decided to give it a proper release including top notch remixes.
