Here’s a special premiere to celebrate five years of Needwant Records. Yes, the label has been around for that long already!
In conjunction with the anniversary, the label has organised a special party at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, east London with a secret line-up. 5 hours, 5 guests and just £5 entry fee!
Needwant is the imprint that supported names like Mario Basanov, Ejeca, Maxxi Soundsystem and many more before they really hit the big time. Their A&Ring skills are clearly second to none and they’ve compiled a seriously strong arsenal of tracks for their anniversary compilation, which has remixes and original tracks from all of the talented artists who have released with them over the last five years.
One of the tracks is this excellent rework of ‘Can’t Believe’ by The Mekanism, which has been given a new lick of paint by Maxxi Soundsystem and it’s super fresh we’re sure you’ll agree.
