This Friday, 28 September, Oxia will join Apollonia, Marco Carola, Nick Curly, and Marco Faraone for the penultimate 2018 edition of Music On at Amnesia Ibiza. Anticipating the event, the accomplished Frenchman takes us into his bag with a handful of tracks you might expect to hear on the evening.
Dennis Cruz – Freaks – Hot Creations
I like the fusion between some old school elements on one hand though very modern on the other hand. All these sounds come in one after the other and you get the impression they are talking to each other.
Ohmme – Fashion (Original Mix) – NoExcuse Limited
I am really impressed by this French duo, Olivier Giacomotto & David Lecoq. In very little time they released a lot of good music. This one in specific is very efficient in the club with its unstoppable beat, its break, and dark voice and snare rolls.
Andre Butano & Miguel Lobo – Aint Trippen – Roush Label
Two producers who regularly collaborate. This track holds a very groovy beat and an acid baseline that increases bit by bit. Hypnotic and Trippy.
Johnson – Paradox – Knee Deep In Sound
The main sound of this track reminds me of some old techno-ish releases. There is also an atmospheric side to this track with the paths on the background.
Iuliano Mambo – Tornado (Stefano Parenti Remix) – Bnn Records
A track with a groovy beat & baseline. Simple but very well produced and efficient. It was the perfect opening track of my set on the terrace back in August.
